Are you looking to connect with friends from your ‘salad days’ at Appel Farm? More and more former Appel Farm campers and staff are doing just that, and you can join them by registering here. You also can send us your questions, stories or comments by e-mailing us. As a registered alumnus, you will receive regular updates on Appel Farm news and events, and qualify for special offers, such as complimentary tickets to the annual Arts & Music Festival. You must be at least 20 years of age to register.
In addition, once you have registered, you can sign on to the Alumni Forum message board. Upon submitting your Forum registration, you will receive an e-mail notification that your account has been activated. With access to the Forum, you can get in touch with old friends, exchange personal e-mails, or join group discussions with former Appel Farmers who share your interests or friendships. You will also be able to post announcements and plan reunions and get-togethers.
While the message board can serve as chat forum for all campers and staff, there are also topic areas subdivided by decade: 60s, 70s, 80s, etc. You will be able to connect with former bunkmates and counselors and the people you know best.
Ari Taub, Appel Farm camper (1978-1981) and camp staffer (1989-1993), and Alyssa Ettinger (1976-1980), have developed a website, appelfarmemories.com, with lots of vintage photos and other memorabilia. Drop by the website to enjoy a visit to the Appel Farm of yesteryear.
The upcoming Arts & Music Festival offers a great opportunity to get together with other former Appel Farm campers, and we hope you can join us then.
