Sleigh Bobs Ring! |
The Bobs are four dynamic personalities whose performance is part theatre, part comedy, part performance art, but most of all—a unique evening of music. A contemporary a cappella group, the Bobs are a "band without instruments" using just their voices and body percussion to fill the theatre with an orchestra of harmonious sound, accompanying themselves on songs that range from soulful to satire, from amazing to moving, from familiar to unimaginable. Don’t miss this incredible live show of witty, tuneful, original material and outrageous covers of classic holiday songs!

John Gorka |
John Gorka flies below the pop culture radar with an almost cult-like following
that never fails to fill concert venues. Speak with any of his fans and one
instantly feels their enthusiasm and genuine affection. His shy, almost self-effacing
stage presence rightfully focuses attention on the songs. His versatility
on guitar and piano keeps his sets musically interesting, while his rich baritone
effortlessly executes his bidding. He’s never short of the sly comment
or clever joke that invariably ignites his audience.

Act Out Theatre presents |
Proof, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play by David Auburn, is a richly layered drama that explores the issue of genius vs. madness, and whether these conditions are a result of heredity. The play is set in Chicago, where Catherine, a brilliant but confused college drop-out, is dealing with the recent death of her father Robert, a mathematician genius who struggled with mental instability. Catherine’s sister Claire returns from New York to help with funeral preparations and the sparks fly. A discovery is made, and a mystery unfolds. Auburn’s play explores the complex relationships of love, trust and fear that forge the bonds of family.
