(Elmer, NJ August 8, 2013) Back-to-school is a phrase that signals excitement for new experiences that bubble in the imagination.  Arts classes at Appel Farm Arts & Music Center are a perfect way to heed the call of creativity and build skills and confidence in visual and performing arts.   Registrations are now being taken for classes and workshops in ceramics, drawing, theatre and more for children and adults.

(Elmer, NJ August 1, 2013)  The Board of Trustees of Appel Farm Arts & Music Center announced today that the Salem County non-profit will no longer be running the Landis Theater in Vineland after its annual contract with the Landis Theater Foundation expires on September 30.  The remaining concerts and activities currently booked at the theater through the end of September will still take place, and “Appel Farm at the Landis” staff will continue to work in the theater on a daily basis.

Summer learning means summer fun when children take part in programs designed for both. Drama Days, a theatre arts program that combines skill-building and performance opportunity in classes and rehearsal-performance, is perfect for young people who love theater and want to learn from professional teaching artists.

(February 28, 2013 Elmer, NJ) Appel Farm Arts & Music Center is pleased to announce that Bank of America is the inaugural sponsor for the 2013 family matinee series at the Landis Theater. The pledge of $10,000 will help to bring live performances to the southern New Jersey region throughout the coming months. A recent performance at the theater attracted over 600 people to downtown Vineland, a near-capacity audience.
