Maera Barker
Coordinator for Creative Inclusive Learning
(she/her)
Maera’s passion for arts education has taken her across the US and abroad, and she is thrilled to facilitate creative, inclusive, neurodiversity/disability-affirming learning environments throughout New Jersey after serving as the Performing Arts Coordinator for the 2025 summer season.
Maera grew up in Los Angeles where she attended the University of Southern California and trained to become a classical musician. Early on she discovered she could make a more meaningful impact beyond the concert stage, and has worked as a radio producer, freelance writer, teacher, artistic planner, and management consultant, including over ten years as a senior administrator at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. When not listening to music, she enjoys cinema, interior design, and spending time with her dogs, Bonnie and Rufus (woof), and cat, Hecate (psspss).
I am a serial thrift shopper and need to be stopped.
