Visiting Days: Come Join the Magic!

We’re thrilled to welcome families to camp on not one, but TWO Visiting Days this summer!

 Saturday, July 12
 Saturday, July 26
 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Whether you want to spend a sunny day exploring campus with your camper or take them off-site for a special outing, Visiting Day is your time to connect and celebrate the summer together!

Please RSVP on your camper’s Transportation Form in your Household Portal.
This helps us prepare for a smooth, safe, and joy-filled day for everyone!
Need to update your form? Email us and we’ll reopen it for you.

What to Expect on Visiting Day:

#1 – Check In at the Dance Studio
Pick up your visitor sticker and a schedule of the day’s activities. Let us know if you’re planning to stay on camp or head out with your camper for an off-site adventure.

#2 – Staying On Camp?
Enjoy a picnic lunch, dive into family workshops or sports, or cool off with a swim in the pool!
Just remember:

#3 – Heading Off Camp?
Go explore! Whether it’s Wheaton Arts or a trip to the beach, your camper can head out with a parent or legal guardian (or another approved adult—just make sure they’re listed on your Authorized Adults form).
Need to update your form? Email us and we’ll reopen it for you.

#4 – Sign Back In by 5:00 PM
Before the day ends, return to the Dance Studio to sign your camper back in.

Not visiting? No worries! We’ll plan a 15-minute phone call and a special treat for campers without visitors—every camper deserves a little magic on Visiting Day! Just be sure to let us know you can’t make it on your Transportation Form.

Camper Showcases: Celebrate Their Creative Journey!

Our campers have been working hard – and having a blast – in their major classes, and we can’t wait to share their art with you!

 Showcase Dates:

Most showcases will be live-streamed, recorded, and available to download (when possible) after the season, so no one misses a moment!

Showcase Details:

4-Week Campers
These formal showcases highlight all your camper has accomplished! A full schedule will be available on Check-In Day.

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your camper’s scheduled showcase.
Campers must stay on-site and fully participate in activities before and after their shows—Showcase Day is not Check-Out Day. Help us give them the closure they deserve!

1 & 2-Week Campers
These programs are more exploratory, but they’ll still have the chance to opt into a fun, informal showcase. Guests are invited, and we’ll share recordings when available.

If you have any questions or need help updating forms, just email us at camp@appelfarm.org.

We can’t wait to see you at Visiting Day—and cheer your camper on at their Showcases!
