Brea Furman

Camp and Programs Specialist

Brea Furman (she/her) is excited to join the year-round team at Appel Farm as a Camp and Programs Specialist. Brea attended Appel Farm as a camper for five summers and worked on seasonal staff in 2019-2020 and 2022-2023 as Head of North. Outside of camp, Brea has eight years of experience as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is licensed in Pennsylvania and Arizona. She has worked with children, teens, and adults with challenging behaviors and developmental delays in a variety of settings including home, school, community, and residential programs. Brea is a guest lecturer at Northern Arizona University in the Special Education Department, and is working toward a doctorate in behavioral health management. Brea is passionate about supporting families in understanding the needs of their loved ones and engaging in culturally sensitive, trauma-informed services.
