Chenoa Yelle

Operations Assistant
(she/her)

Chenoa Yelle is excited to officially join the Appel Farm team. Her time with Appel Farm began long before she remembers. From a young age, she took Appel Farm art classes after school, volunteered at over 10 festivals and multiple season performances through the years, and in 2012 began attending summer camp for over 11 years as a camper and staff member. Currently, she is the year-round Operations Assistant.

Chenoa holds a BA in Theatre Studies with a concentration in Acting from Temple University. She originally attended the University of the Arts before the school’s unfortunate and sudden closure in 2024. This event only solidified her desire to help keep the arts alive. Chenoa discovered her passion for theatre arts, community, and supporting young artists at Appel Farm Arts Camp and is excited to see the future of a place so near to her heart. Some of her earliest memories consist of having dinner with Albert and Peimin Appel, running around the fields as a child during the iconic Arts and Music Festival series, attending children’s theatre shows on the weekends, sharing s’mores with new friends around the campfire, and performing in camp theatre productions.

Preserving the integrity and culture of the organization while cultivating new inclusive environments is where her true mission lies. She hopes her love for the Appel Farm community and programs will inspire others to join the mission of artmaking as a healing practice.
