Mei moved to New Jersey all the way from California, and by summer of 2024, she found her home with Appel Farm, just in time to start camp! In the heat of the sun and the bustle of camp activities, Mei fell in love with Appel Farm’s mission and strived to do her part in making positive impacts on the community. Now, as an AmeriCorps team member, Mei continues to support Appel Farm in her position as an office assistant.

At 111 words-per-minute, Mei is a typing whiz and tremendously enjoys working behind the scenes. Her extensive background in customer service and retail has bolstered her enjoyment for being the friendly face you see when you first walk through the door! Her college experience with creative writing, journalism, theater and English shines through her vibrant determination to see every task to the fullest.

Mei loves nothing more than knowing that the needs of those around her have been met. She takes great pleasure in being the loudest, most supportive team player she can be. If you need a hand, she’s there!

This California-grown mom of 3 fur babies loves D&D, video games, crocheting, and takes pride in being a Hufflepuff.
