Theater Performance offers campers a major where they can participate in acting studios and rehearse for a mainstage production. In theater minors, campers dive deeper into more technique focused classes like directing, character development, and improvisational comedy. 

Unique among theater camps, our program offers productions that give every child the opportunity to take on a significant role on stage. There are no “Tree Number 2’s” in the ensemble at Appel Farm! 

From projection to characterization, we teach campers the foundation necessary to excel in their craft. Small class sizes allow campers to progress at their own pace under the direction of our professional teaching artists. All of our productions are designed, teched, and managed by our technical theater campers. This collaboration teaches our campers to work together just as they would in the professional theater world.
