Jare Bozinko is ecstatic to have the opportunity to serve Appel Farm through AmeriCorps and foster the fine and performing arts in a one-of-a-kind community. Jare began his relationship with Appel Farm during the 2024 Camp season, as a bunk counselor working closely with youth and an instructor in the music department, introducing the signature, redesigned instrumental music class “Chamber Studios.” Having led multiple sessions’ worth of campers to incredible performance successes from classical violin to vocal jazz, Jare continues to expand possibilities in the performing arts, with a focus on music programming.

Jare received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in music from Princeton University, where he was able to perform as a multi-instrumentalist in various theatrical and symphonic ensembles, oversee the school’s live music hotspot as House Manager of Terrace F. Club, and compose a 19-minute wind octet titled “SIN PHONY” as his senior thesis. He continues to play  in a local wind ensemble and compose.

He is eager to bring his experience both from arts academia and as a lifelong musician to Appel Farm in hopes of bolstering a campus where music abounds and where an increasingly broad and diverse community of artmakers can find a secluded, evocative morsel of nature to enjoy.

I collect vinyl of all kinds, and I qualified as an All-State musician twice in Pennsylvania. I am also trying to ride each NJTransit rail line like a bucket list.
