With an emphasis on camper driven design, construction, and management, T squared is always ready to produce creative and thoughtful work for every Appel Farm production. With majors in stage management, theatrical design and construction, stage crew, and costume design campers are tasked with creating the world of the play. Our minors in stage and special effects makeup and general tech encourage campers to polish their designs and dive deeper into the world of tech. Each camper will have the opportunity to design the set, lighting, sound, costumes, or makeup for a mainstage theatrical production. With an emphasis on safety campers also learn how to operate power tools, sewing machines, lighting consoles, and sound boards to execute their designs.

Every on stage performance at Appel farm is staffed with camper technicians, stage managers, and run crew teams. Together, they operate the lighting and sound consoles, run the cues, and make magic happen on stage.
