Campers can major in Creative Writing, which explores everything from fiction writing to journalism or they can choose to take a minor course and explore a more nuanced subject. Campers spend time in the classroom working with instructors learning how to hone their skills with plenty of time for free writing and editing. Creative writers can be a part of our literary magazine, The Appel Core. Appel Farm offers the only residential creative writing program in New Jersey where campers can explore their passion for writing while still enjoying all the fun and excitement of summer camp.
